We’re thrilled to invite you to join us in person for TESL Ontario Connect: Networking, Awards & Fireside Chats on Wednesday, November 19, from 4:30 – 9:00 PM at Toronto Metropolitan University (POD250). This much-anticipated event has become a cornerstone of our annual conference, offering TESL professionals the opportunity to reconnect, exchange ideas, and celebrate our community’s accomplishments in a relaxed and engaging setting.

The evening will feature a dynamic moderated fireside chat panel – Evolving Excellence: Teaching Strategies That Grow With You – with education experts Anjum Karimi, OCELT, Nancy Van Dorp, M.Ed., and Laureta Vavla, Ph.D., moderated by TESL Toronto President, Celine de Almeida. Kicking things off will be an insightful presentation by Nancy Van Dorp on “Staying Relevant as an Educator in 2025.”

Following the panel, attendees will engage in interactive roundtable discussions and enjoy plenty of time for networking over food and drinks. We’ll also recognize outstanding members with the TESL Ontario Recognition Awards, including the Sparks of Excellence, Distinguished Contribution, and our inaugural Volunteer of the Year Award.

Don’t miss this unique professional development and community-building opportunity – attendees will receive 4 PD hours. Registration is separate from the main conference and can be completed at teslontario.org/registration.

We look forward to seeing you there!
