A new year is upon us, and as 2019 begins to unfold, so too, does our Strategic Plan for 2019-2021. What you normally see is the finalized plan, which is available on our website. But we wanted to take you behind the scenes of our process for strategic planning. The infographic below illustrates our timeline for creating a thoughtful plan by addressing four major stages of the planning process: preparing, researching, creating, and refining. Our process began in March and ended in November with a presentation to the membership at the Annual General Meeting.
We are excited to implement our Strategic Plan for 2019-2021 and support TESL Ontario’s mission and vision.

Hi Tetyana,
The Board has identified several ways through which we will enhance and promote TESL Ontario accreditation as the plan rolls out. These include efforts such as attending various language education association events, as well as reaching out to large employers in the province to promote the benefits of accreditation/hiring accredited members. As ever, we also welcome input and suggestions from our membership to best achieve our goals together.
