The start of a new school year is upon us! Are you prepping for the first week of classes? The excitement of new students, the rush to finalize lesson plans and materials, the planning and organizing of new routines at home are all part of the exhilarating feeling that September fills the air with. September is a chance for a new start. Maybe you’ve been reading the blog throughout the summer for some new lesson ideas or new technology to try out in the classroom.  But September is also a time to think about new professional development goals.

Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a curious novice – or anything in between, you’ve got ideas and experiences from the field that maybe you think your peers in this community could learn from. We welcome reflections from the field and have posted many guest posts that document successes in the classroom, enlightening adventures, and shared thoughts.

How To Do It

  1. Be a member of TESL Ontario.
  2. Check your emails for our monthly blog in review newsletters. Click on the “write for us” heading!
  3. Write a post no more than 700 words in length about your experiences or nugget of wisdom you’d like to share.
  4. Submit through the link in the email.

It’s as easy as these 4 steps. Once we get the submission, we connect with you about next steps and our process. Not only will you be able to share your knowledge, but you will also get PD recognition!

So next time you get the blog month in review email, check out the submission form and consider writing a post for us and check off those PD goals.

Happy new school year!
